Earlier that day I saw Emily at the de Young Museum. I love her play with small and large dots. Don't forget to check out her top braid.
In hopes to understand the way we see identity, I've decided to expose my experiences. You will also experience my exploration with fibers, photography, fashion, and beauty.

Street Culture: Suzy on Haight Street, Sf
Thinking my photo adventure was over, I saw Suzy pushing a child in a stroller and holding the hand of another. She was strutting a cute textured pixie haircut and wrap scarf.

Street Culture: Brandon and Justin on Haight Street, Sf
These two caught my eye when I saw this rainbowish Moon shirt and that deep black pompadour. When asked for a picture, I was caught by surprise when they held hands!! Show some love!
Boys with buns: Kristian
My original inspiration to photograph portraits was to document gender ambiguity through hair. Boys with long flowing hair has been my big obsession and love this side knot. Kristian was with another friend who quickly got away from the photograph, but was also flaunting a top knot. Gotta love those boys with buns.
Street Culture: Angela and Shelbi on Haight street, Sf
After taking their picture, I forgot to ask their names. An hour and a half later I saw them driving around, then ran into them in the Castro. Such a small city. These two have been best friends for 24 years! I felt their connection and immediately asked for a photograph. I love Angela's straight across fringe. Shelby just got her hair cut so it was the perfect moment for a photograph.
Street Culture: Malerie on Haight Street
What I love about Malerie's style are the muscle leggings. After seeing the Jean Paul Gaultier exhibit at the de young Museum, it reminded me of an outfit worn by Kylie Minogue as well as this science guy from the 90's.

Street Culture: Sparkles on Haight Street, Sf
How amazing is this? Hanging out in the Golden Gate Park on a gloomy day flaunting some fabulous copper hair.
Dust yourself off and try again
It's been way too long since I've blogged. It's nice to take a break, be productive, and take my time. After my bike wheels were stolen, a tarot card reading revealed to me a vision of open spaces, new creations, and some good old partying. I've slowed down and have revisited San Francisco with new eyes.
